Aims at scaling the technology to deliver personalized text, video and vernacular content for Mums
mycity4kids, the largest content platform for Mums, has announced the appointment of ParitoshGunjan as the Chief Technology Officer.
“These are exciting times for us with traffic jumping 4X since January’16 to 4mn monthly visits and the launch of MOMSPRESSO, India’s first video channel exclusively for Mums. To increase this momentum, we need to build a massively scalable content platform which can serve personalized text, video and vernacular content to millions of Mums. Paritosh’s key mandate is to make mycity4kids a technology-driven company with data-science forming the core of everything – from content creation, campaign management and content distribution.” said Vishal Gupta – Co-Founder & MD, mycity4kids.
Speaking about his appointment, Paritosh said, “The vision of mycity4kids is to become a Digital Publishing powerhouse for the Mum community. To support the vision, the tech strategy has a three pronged approach: (a) Enable easy creation and distribution of omni-channel (Website, Mobile, Apps, Social Media) content, so that Mums can create and consume diverse content formats when they want, in the format they want and where they want (b) Understand Mums better so we can provide them personalized content and build support-groups (c) Optimized content delivery so that advertisers can target their audience with greater precision”.
Paritosh has completed his Masters in Software Engineering from BITS, Pilani. Prior to mycity4kids, he worked for more than a decade across diverse companies – Wipro, Samsung, Crayon Data and Flygrades, a start-up he co-founded. His experience includes building a recommendation engine, a web browser, a private cloud and a data driven education platform.
