August :  The Indywood Film Carnival (24-27th September 2016), a 4 day film carnival that celebrates the best of world cinema, is back with its 2nd Edition and amongst numerous events, one of the major highlights is expected to be the talent hunt.

To enroll into any category of the ‘Indywood Talent Hunt’, the first step of entry is to register (free of cost) and upload one’s work online atwww.indywoodtalenthunt.com. Selected entries will then be required to attend a face to face interview with the jury at Ramoji Film City, the venue for the Indywood Film Carnival.  Participants should not be more than 25 years of age. Entries will be accepted from across the Globe until the 30th of August 2016.

‘Indywood Talent Hunt’ is a first of its kind initiative that aims to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their proficiency in areas associated with film making. The Film Industry as a whole has abundance of skill set individuals but there have always been a lack of opportunity and platform to identity and nourish them. A greater challenge is also the lack of interaction between those already established in the industry and the ones that are on the threshold of making their mark.  This gap creates a system where very little or no knowledge sharing is transferred and hence could lead to deterioration of quality in the long run for the film industry.

‘Indywood Talent Hunt’ has been initiated to provide this much needed connect.  The Talent Hunt will have 11 categories (Script writing, Lyrics writing, Music Direction, Still Photography, Best Online Promoter, Short Film Making [Shoot At Sight Contest], Production Design, Animation Character Design, Poster Design, Fashion Show and Acting Contest) and entries will be acceptable in various Indian languages apart from English.

Altogether ‘Indywood Talent Hunt’ will identify 11 Grand winners (1 from each category) . Each of the 11 winners will win the world’s 1st glass-less 3D tabs and a never before opportunity to be a part of a ‘Hollywood Movie’. Additionally, few selected entries will be given the opportunity to attend and meet some of the eminent personalities at the Indywood Film carnival. Nagendra Prasad, Prakash Ulleri, Kamal Kumar Deepu are the jury panel for Talent Hunt.

Talent Hunt Categories and Rules
~ All participants must register and upload their entries on www.indywoodtalenthunt.com.                                                                                                                                   ~ All the finals will be held at Ramoji Film City.

5 Best Online Promoter  English A Topic will be given to be promoted on social media Winning team will get an opportunity to present their theme at the display table during the Film Carnival.
6 Short Film Making [Shoot At Sight Contest] Any language Duration should be between 5-10 minutes Best 5 shortlisted will be asked to shoot a film at RFC. One Grand winner will be selected out of the 5.
7 Production Design NA Only ONE design per contestant. Entry should be in JPEG format Photograph should be uploaded online with your name on the still. Best 5 will be shortlisted for the Finals
8 Animation Character Design NA Only ONE design per contestant. Design should be uploaded online with the name of the animation character.  .. Best 5 will be shortlisted for the Finals
9 Poster Design NA Only ONE design per contestant. Design should be uploaded online with your name Best 5 will be shortlisted for the Finals
