14 July 2016, Bangalore – Karanataka Employers’ Association (KEA)celebrated its fifty-fifth anniversary earlier today by conducting a workshop on select case laws which have brought about paradigm shifts and trends in wage settlements for over 160 senior delegates representing employers across a variety of sectors. The workshop was conducted by Dr. R. Krishna Murthy who heads Mumbai-based consultancy firm S.R. Mohan Das and a director at the Industrial Relations Institute of India. Dr Krishna Murthy was felicitated later in the day during the Annual General Meeting for his contributions to the field of industrial relations.


“It is a momentous occasion for KEA today as we celebrate 55 years of fostering harmonious relationships between employers and employees through constant representation, advocacy, and consultation amongst all member organisations. Since 1961, we have grown from strength to strength and now we not only hold the distinction of being the first organisation for employers in Karnataka, but also boast over 800 members across varied sectors such as manufacturing to BPO to consultancy services. We are hoping to keep growing to support the burgeoning growth we see in Karnataka,” shared Mr B C Prabhakar, advocate and President of KEA.
