It is with great pride that we announce the launch of the 2nd edition of ‘Tiger-My Friend’ program to commemorate ‘International Tiger Day’. The program revolves around TIGER as the subject matter and brings out a plethora of activities for children. A coloring competition for the pre-primary kids conducted at the school level. Students of class 1 & 2 from various schools of Bengaluru will demonstrate a story-telling on ‘folk tale on Tiger’ from 27 to 29 July 2016 at the Venkatappa Art Gallery Auditorium.
A painting exhibition also has been organized for the students of class 6 – 10 at the Venkatappa Art Gallery from 28 – 30 July 2016 and is open to all to encourage the budding artists.
To add to the excitement, we have the ‘TIGER DANCE’ performance by the students of Mount Litera Zee School, South Bengaluru and a Musical Drama on TIGER by the students of Mount Litera Zee School, North Bengaluru on the closing day ie29 July 2016 @ 10.45 am and 4.30 pm respectively.
It is our small effort to connect children with our National Animal ‘TIGER’ and create a sense of belonging and care for our environment and its resources. Atotal of 1850 students from 18 schools of Bengaluru participated in this 2nd edition of ‘Tiger –My Friend’ program.
Ms. Chandrika B, President, Heritage Foundation of Art and culture along with Mr. KingshukGhosh, Director, Options Conceptual Services Pvt Ltd will preside over the program and felicitate the children on 29 July 2016 @ 4.30 pm. It is our constant effort to have such awareness campaigns from time to time to bring out the importance of our natural resources.
