Vijaya Bank launched its much awaited Social Media Marketing initiativein an impressive event at Bangalore.
Speaking on the occasion, MD & CEO Sri Kishore Sansi said that as part of the Social Media Marketing Vijaya Bank has created corporate pages on many platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Instagram, Youtube, Google+, among others, to connect with and cater to the needs of the youth, tech savvy clientele and others looking for banking products and services. “The social media foray also opens up an avenue for us to touch base with youngsters at an early age, inculcate banking habits, expose them to financial worldand also to egg them on to a less-cash society”.
With this foray, Bank is opening another crucial channel of communication with its large and diversified client-base and seeks to engage with them in real time, he added.
The top management of the Bank, including the Executive Directors – Sri B. S. Rama Rao and Sri Nageswara Rao Y were present on the occasion.
