Bangalore, June 18th, 2016: Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), India’s fastest growing network in private-unaided category of K12 schools organised Walkathon to celebrate International Day of Yoga.  Over 400 students from five MLZS located in various parts of Karnataka, got together early morning and concluded their Walkathon from City Town Hall to Vidhan Soudha on June 18th, Saturday morning. The event was presided over by Mr. B.S.Yeddyurappa,- Former Chief Minister of Karnataka who flagged off the Walkathon and spoke about the importance of introducing yoga in life. Renowned actress Ms. Malavika Avinash also graced the event with her presence and encouraged students.

Students carrying placard with yoga related messaging participated in the Walkathon, it aimed at raising awareness about the importance of yoga among the citizens of Bangalore.  In line with government’s vision of promoting yoga as a healthy way of life, the students and MLZS took this initiative.
