Bangalore, Thursday, April 28, 2016: Yamaha- the world’s largest manufacturer of musical instruments, crossed another milestone with the launch of its newest music station at Jayanagar, today. The Yamaha Music Station at Jayanagar by Reynolds Inc. was inaugurated by Hitoshi Mochizuki, MD- Yamaha Music India Pvt. Ltd and renowned music composer Merlyn D’Souza. The store, like the other branches all over the country houses latest world-class musical instruments and professional audio-visual equipment.

Sharing his excitement about the launch, the MD for Yamaha Music in India, Mr. Hitoshi Mochizuki said, “We, at Yamaha are very excited about the expansion of our brand and have many such store openings, planned. Since the first reed organ manufactured by Torakusu Yamaha, in 1887, the company has displayed its passion for music and precision, and is keen to contribute even more, to the industry. Like Victor Hugo said, ‘Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.’ We provide the tools to express what would normally remain, unsaid.”

The launch also included a brilliant performance by Merlyn D’Souza, one of India’s finest music directors, composers and musician. The newly launched Yamaha Music Station situated in the 3rd block of Jayanagar, one of the oldest residential areas of Bangalore, houses two floors dedicated to Yamaha brand equipment and Instruments and another floor for all other musical instrument brands. This is a larger space than the other two existing stores in Bangalore, which are a single floor space.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Felix Remedios, Managing Director- Reynolds Inc shared, “The store is a one stop shop for musicians, teachers and students providing a variety of guitars, keyboards, drums and other instruments suitable to each ones taste and budget. Customers in this part of the city expect high quality offering at a convenient location and the added advantage is that Yamaha products already have a huge fan following in Jayanagar.”

Mr. Hitoshi Mochizuki further added, “Music is not limited to cultures, languages or even ethnicities. And with the help of our learning and creation tools, a person just needs an instrument to begin their musical journey. Yamaha Music Stations can be found in 14 cities in 16 stores. The company is planning rapid expansions, pan- India, and has established several Musical Education programs amongst which, Music Mates and Music Point, are significant.
