The memorandum said that there has already been land acquisition for the construction of the Bangalore – Mysore infrastructure corridor by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) Ltd. The Making of 6-lane by the State Government would mean acquiring new land. It would also mean levy of toll on the uses of the 6-lane.
The memorandum proposed that if toll has to be anyway borne by commuters the proposed 111-km NICE road itself can be used instead of the new one  proposed by the State Government.
